Rodent Control

Several residents have called to complain about the presence of rats in the town. In an effort to alleviate the threat of rodents, residents are encouraged to make certain that dog food and bird food are stored in rodent proof containers. Dog food bowls and bird feeders are often a favorite food source of rodents. Also, make certain that refuse containers are tightly sealed and rust resistant. Please do not place your recycling containers at curb side until the night before. The residue of food in the bins is often an attraction for rodents.
