Integrating the blog with the main documentation of the website should make it easier for you to find information and comment on issues. We believe the blog will help residents to participate more effectively in the governance and management of the Section.

The draft minutes of the monthly council meetings will be posted here for residents to be able to read prior to the adoption of the minutes at the subsequent council meeting.

General notices and requests for opinions may also be posted here. Formal council notices and announcements will be made here, in the events and news items and elsewhere on the site as appropriate.

The purpose of this blog is to facilitate interaction between the residents, council and village manager. Participants of this group are residents of Section 5, neighboring municipalities and others with shared interests in the welfare of the community.

The policy of the blog is to encourage resident's to participate in the affairs of the Section. This is a facility for the residents to be able to communicate with one another and the council. Postings to the group should be 'on topic' i.e. of direct relevance to the residents and community and respectful to other resident readers. Postings that do not meet these guidelines or are otherwise considered inappropriate will be removed.
