Armed Robbery of Citizen

5300 block of Willard Avenue, Friendship Heights

SUSPECT: Unknown b/m, 25-30 years, 5/10 – 6/0, long black hair, thin build, wearing a black winter cap, black coat and armed with a revolver pistol.

The victim had arrived by Metro Train at the Friendship Heights station and was walking along Willard Avenue when he and the suspect passed one another. At this moment the suspect, wielding a pistol, demanded the victim’s wallet and struck the victim on the head with the butt of the pistol. The suspect then removed property from the wallet and fled on foot north bound on Willard Avenue.
