The Village of Chevy Chase Section 5

Established in 1922, Section 5 of the Village of Chevy Chase became an incorporated municipality on June 25, 1982. The Section contains 225 private homes and a restaurant.

The section is administered by an elected five-member Village Council, members of which serve for two-year terms of office. Elections take place in the spring at our annual meeting. There is also one paid employee, the Section Manager, who acts as a liaison between the Council and residents.
